MEET JOE BLACK

No, thats not Brad Pitt. Thats Joe Black, the newest addition to our roasting team.

Joe started his roasting apprenticeship a few months ago and is already an important part of the production staff.






A few questions for Joseph:

Q: What coffee did you drink before you started roasting for Kaldi's?
A: I drank Kaldi's and thought it was the best in St.Louis, but now I drink different types of coffee than before. I used to look for the darkest, oiliest coffee because I thought it was the strongest, but now I'm starting to appreciate how a light roast can bring out the acidity and nuances of a good coffee.

Q: What book are you reading right now?
A: Other Lands Have Dreams by Kathy Kelly.

Q: If there were a movie made about your life, which actor would play you?
A: Jack Black. No question!
